COURSE OBJECTIVES

This two and a half day course will highlight peri-operative issues, breast and colorectal disease, surgical complications, complex wound management, injury in the traumatized patient and a variety of general surgical topics that will provide practical tips for the practising general surgeon.

The format includes lectures, interactive touchpads, case presentations and workshops.

Participants will be able to identify and manage difficult clinical problems in and out of the operating room, review current standards of practice and increase their skills in diagnosing and treating common surgical diseases.
