Dr. Ralph Gilbert

Dr. Ralph Gilbert is a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gilbert trained in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery in Toronto, and did advanced training in head and neck surgery and microvascular surgery. Dr. Gilbert is widely published in the area of head and neck reconstructive surgery, with particular interest in laryngeal and maxillary reconstruction.

Dr. Patrick Gullane

Dr. Patrick Gullane is the Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, and the Wharton Chair in Head and Neck Surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Dr. Gullane is renowned as an international speaker and authority on the management of patients with head and neck cancer.

Dr. Alexis Rapidis

Dr. Alexis Rapidis is the Professor and Chairman at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Greek Anticancer Institute, Athens. Dr. Rapidis is an international authority in the management of head and neck cancer with extensive experience in reconstructive microsurgery.

Dr. Ian Witterick

Dr Ian Witterick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr Witterick did advanced training in Head and Neck Oncology and currently is the Director of Continuing Education and Postgraduate Program Director for the Department of Otolaryngology -Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Mr. James Brown

Mr. James Brown is a Consultant Surgeon in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, UK. Mr. Brown has an international reputation in providing leadership in mandibular and maxillary reconstruction, and is a highly sought-after international speaker.

Dr. Douglas Chepeha

Dr. Douglas Chepeha is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan and Director of the Microvascular Surgery program. Dr. Chepeha has an international reputation in microvascular surgery of the head and neck with innovative reconstruction experience in oral cavity, oropharyngeal and maxillary reconstruction.

Dr. Danny Enepekides

Dr. Danny Enepekides is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Enepekides started his career at the University of California, Davis. He did advanced training in reconstructive microsurgery with Dr. Richard Hayden. Dr. Enepekides’ major academic interest is in outcomes research in head and neck reconstruction, and staging and evaluation of head and neck cancer.

Dr. David Goldstein

Dr. David Goldstein is a Lecturer in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Goldstein is a University of Toronto graduate having done advanced training in Microvascular Reconstruction of the head and neck at the University of Iowa. Dr. Goldstein’s major academic interest is in quality of life and outcomes research in head and neck cancer.

Dr. Kevin Higgins

Dr. Kevin Higgins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Higgins trained at the University of Toronto and then did advanced training at Mount Sinai Health Sciences Center in New York with Dr. Mark Urken. Dr. Higgins’ particular expertise is in outcomes research in larynx cancer and reconstructive microsurgery.

Dr. Stefan Hofer

Dr. Stefan Hofer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, and the Head of Plastic Surgery at the University Health Network. Dr. Hofer holds the Wharton Chair in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the University Health Network and is an established world expert in microsurgical reconstruction including the head and neck.

Dr. Sat Parmar

Mr. Sat Parmar is a Consultant Surgeon in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Centre in Birmingham, UK. Mr. Parmar has significant expertise in mid-face and mandibular reconstruction with extensive expertise in implantology. Mr. Parma is the Co-Director of the European Head and Neck Oncology Course.

Dr. Hadi Seikaly

Dr. Hadi Seikaly is the Division Head and Director of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Dr. Seikaly did advanced training in head and neck surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in the United States, returning to Canada to provide leadership in microvascular surgery at the University of Alberta. Dr. Seikaly’s particular academic expertise is in outcomes research, particularly around oropharyngeal function following surgical reconstruction.

Dr. John Yoo

Dr. John Yoo is the Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. Dr. Yoo is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Program and did fellowship training in Toronto with Dr. Ralph Gilbert. Dr. Yoo is a highly experienced reconstructive surgeon with extensive expertise in microsurgical reconstruction of the head and neck.
