Program Information

This year’s program will provide evidence-based updates on the management of multiple myeloma and amyloidosis, with emphasis on the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) approach. The program will be presented by specialists from PMH with Keynote Speaker, Dr. Shaji K. Kumar from the Mayo Clinic. Lectures and interactive workshops will be featured and continental breakfast, refreshments and lunch included.

Course Objectives

To identify, assess, and treat the symptoms and complications of multiple myeloma and amyloidosis.

To assess and treat supportive care issues in myeloma, including management of pain, anemia, and renal failure.

Target Audience

Community health practitioners including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, trainees, and other health care providers who are involved in the care of patients with plasma cell disorders will find this program of benefit.
