Course Description
This 2 day program will provide a 1 day intensive update on Dementia and Stroke Care followed by current clinical approaches to a broad spectrum of common neurological problems with an emphasis on workup and management. Topics to be covered include Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and New Guidelines for Clinical Practice. Small group breakout sessions will examine chronic pain, how to choose an epilepsy medication, review of the neurological examination, neurological problems that you cannot afford to miss, dementia, stroke, and approach to peripheral neuropathies; there will be continuity between the presentations on the first day and the dementia and stroke workshops on the second, although it will be possible to attend these workshops without attending the first day. Participants may attend one or both days, with a special registration fee for the full 2 day program.

- identify current advances in diagnostic and therapeutic application
- recognize tools and processes that will have an impact on practice and positive patient outcomes
